Where the deer and the antelope play ...
Imagine waking up to panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, silhouettes of wild horses in the sunrise, the sound of the Cucharas River in the distance, all from the comfort of your own home. Due to our agriculture grazing lease that helps keep property taxes at a very low minimum, you might also hear a “moo” as local cattle graze through the ranch a few months out of the year.

Our Location
Living On the Ranch
Landowner's Association
River Ridge Ranch is overseen by a landowner's association (LOA), made up of all owners within the ranch, that is governed by a board of managers. The LOA meets once annually, but all landowners are welcome to attend the monthly board meetings. A set of covenants and bylaws establish the guidelines for many aspects of living within the Ranch.
Access to Amenities
LOA dues ensure our roads are well-maintained throughout the year and accessible during winter conditions. High-speed internet is available in the area, keeping you connected to the world while reveling in the tranquility of the countryside. Electricity is available within the Ranch, though landowners are responsible for fees associated with extending its reach and connections. Many residents have successfully drilled wells, while others just install cisterns.
Welcoming Neigh-bors
Landowners hail from all over the U.S., offering a range of expertise and knowledge they’re happy to share over a cup of coffee or cold beer. (The wild horses have some incredible 'tails' of adventure to share as well...)
